Calliope (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a rhythm-training app. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: Calliope has no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Data stored on your device
Your practice scores, app settings, and preferences are saved only on your device. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
Browsing the music library (Jamendo)
When you browse or preview the built-in royalty-free music library, the app sends your search terms and filter choices (such as genre or tempo) to Jamendo (jamendo.com) to return matching tracks. As with any internet request, Jamendo receives your device’s IP address. We do not send Jamendo any personal information about you, and Calliope does not have user accounts. Bug reports
If you choose to send a bug report from within the app, the report includes the description you write plus basic diagnostic information: the app version, the screen you were on, the current track’s name and ID, tempo and playback state, your app settings, and your aggregate score totals. This is sent to us through a Google Form so we can diagnose the problem. We do not collect your name, email, or device identifiers unless you include them in the description yourself. Please avoid putting personal information in the report text.
What we do not collect
Calliope does not collect or use: personal identifiers, location, contacts, advertising IDs, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.
Children’s privacy
Calliope is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
